Positions Open:

 

Support is available (NIH training grant and research grants) for a pre-doctoral candidate interested in pursuing any of the projects described on the projects pages. Candidates with a bachelors or masters degree in a biological science are invited to contact Dr. Burt (see below) for discussions of research possibilities and potential start dates. Most predoctoral candidates pursue their degree in the context of the Physiological Sciences Interdisciplinary Program, which provides a broad background in Physiology (molecules to systems levels) and the skills necessary for careers in academia and industry.

 

Support is available (NIH training grant and research grants) for a post-doctoral candidate interested in pursuing any of the projects described on the projects pages. Our laboratory is a state-of-the-art electrophysiology laboratory with supporting imaging and molecular approaches. Candidates with an advanced degree in physiology or other biological discipline and with prior experience in the study of channels, especially in the context of heart or vascular function, are encouraged to apply.
